Description
Huila, located in southern Colombia, is renowned for producing bright, fruity coffees with exceptional complexity. The region’s altitude, fertile soil, and equatorial climate provide the ideal conditions for cultivating some of the world’s finest Arabica beans.
El Tulipán is a standout coffee from smallholder farmers in Huila. These producers partner with local cooperatives to ensure consistent quality. Coffee cherries are depulped 8–24 hours after harvest, fermented overnight in open tanks, and washed before being dried under solar panels. This innovative drying method stabilizes temperatures, protects the beans from rain, and preserves their flavor. Once dried, the coffee is milled to remove the parchment and prepared for export to our facility.
Huila’s lush green hillsides, adorned with coffee plantations, reflect Colombia’s rich coffee heritage and natural beauty. Each cup of El Tulipán embodies the region’s dedication to quality and sustainability, offering a vibrant taste of this exceptional coffee landscape.
